One of my favorite comedies, the 2000 movie starring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt, offered one …uhmmm… explanation. But my informal and extremely unscientific poll conducted at Thanksgiving yesterday, yielded quite another!
The question I posed to my girlfriends was simply, “What one holiday gift do you want most from your boyfriend/husband/significant other?” The answer was not a total surprise. Even in a down economy, the answer was overwhelmingly – diamonds! However, as we all know, the economy is a factor, at least for most gift givers.
