One pair of shoes to match EVERY outfit!
We love love LOVE things that perform double duty. Like Miche Bags and Trudy Miller Layers, so it was pretty much obvious that we’d be huge fans of Convertibles Footwear—cute little sandals with “tops” that you can “pop” off and change on a whim. This is a MAJOR suitcase space saver because there’s no need to pack five pairs of shoes (something I often try to do and end up with a suitcase that won’t zip) for your vacay—simply pack one pair of Convertibles sandals and a few tops that match your outfits. How easy is that?! They have classic beaded tops, “blinged” tops and flowered tops, which are my personal favorite.
As if the whole idea of Convertibles isn’t cool enough, the story behind them is even better! The creator, Kim Quillen, was teased as a child because she was forced to wear corrective shoes, which were not very cute. So when the day came that she could finally take those ugly, unstylish shoes off, she fell in love with fashionable, pretty shoes. This led to the idea that shoes should be easy to pack and versatile, and soon after, Convertibles were born!
With your first shoe purchase, you receive one pair of gold Convertibles, one pair of plain gold tops and one pair of “It’s a Bling Thing” tops that feature three rows of sparkly rhinestones. The only drawback I can find to these fabulous things is that they’re only offered in one base style and color—a low-heeled sandal in a gold tone. I would love to see them come out with a different style shoe in perhaps black or silver.
Convertibles are great for spring because one pair can match so many different outfits, and they look great with any hemline or pant length. So cool!
